Indoor Shoes
If you child does not have indoor shoes, it is important that they keep a pair permanently at school. Please ensure they are suitable for physical education in the gym and on the school field.

Fundraising forms were sent home with your child yesterday. If you would like to purchase a coupon book, fill out the envelope and return it with your child.

Today was the last day of school!
Students enjoyed the farewell assembly to the grade 6 students and some of the teachers. We will all miss them so much and wish them all the best :)

Here are some fun things you can do over the break!

1. play out side - enjoy the sunshine

2. read a book or on Raz-Kids

3. Email me! sktoor@cbe.ab.ca

4. visit the Calgary Public Library - remember you get a free membership!

5. play at the school or baby park

6. help around at home

7. teach something to your younger brothers or sisters

8. write!

Thank you to all of my students for all of their hard work this year! I hope you all have an amazing summer...see you in September!

Stampede Breakfast:
The Stampede Breakfast was a huge success!  We thank them so much for their time, generosity, and great cooking!  Pancakes and chicken sausages were a treat!  The country music put us in the mood for Stampede!  Thanks to all the family members who were able to join us this morning. We hope that we will be able to have the Stampede team back again in the future.

  Tomorrow is the last day of school!

Remember the Farewell Assembly will take place at 2pm tomorrow, in the gym. Good luck Gr: 6's

Report cards will be handed out in the tomorrow.  If you feel the need to discuss it with me, please feel free to book an appointment on Friday, between 8am-11am, by calling the office or emailing me at:  sktoor@cbe.ab.ca

Stampede Breakfast tomorrow June 25th:        

breakfast starts @ 8:45 am

There is NO breakfast program  with Mrs. Mccrae tomorrow . 

 instead you can enjoy the pancakes at. 8.45

- dress western

-students please come into the school and go to your classroom door for attendance 

Parents can save a spot in line

    -put  litter in the proper place  

-enjoy the music and dance

Calgary Stampede Pancake Breakfast on June 25, at Vista Heights at 8:45 am

Please join us for a free breakfast of pancakes, syrup and chicken sausages (everything is nut free and pork free). We will line-up outside on the compound at 8.45am.

All students and their families, aunts, uncles, friends are invited!

A note was sent home. Please indicate on the note, the number of people attending the breakfast to minimize food wastage.

Please return the signed note by Tomorrow, June 19th.

Some of us are excited to wear a cowboy/cowgirl boots and hat....Yeehaw!

If you have them, wear them (it's optional).

Music Sharing Assembly

We will be having our music sharing assembly on Tuesday, June 17 at 10:45. Parents are all invited and encouraged to attend to see the showcase of our music learning this year. All classes will be presenting stories based on literature. We look forward to seeing you there!

Returning Books to the Learning Commons

As the school year winds down, we are requesting that students return their books asap

Mrs. Reimer has some small gifts for those students who promptly clear their account by either returning the book or paying for ones which have been lost or damaged.
