Alien In-line Skating
Today was day two of skating and students did an awesome job at getting ready quickly. Please review the Alien In-line skating website for more information. Under the kids tab there is an orientation that you can watch with your child to ensure they are safe and having fun! http://www.alieninline.com/

Honesty
Students had a chance to think about honesty and why it is important. Here are some of the questions they were asked. Please discuss them with your child.
You broke one of your mom or dad's favourite things by accident and are afraid they will be mad. What would you do and why?
You forgot to do your homework and Ms. Toor asks where it is. What do you say?
Why is it important to be honest?
Tell me about a time that you were honest. How did it make you feel?
Tell me about a time that you were NOT honest. What happened and how did it make you feel?
When is it the hardest to be honest? Why?
How does honesty help friendships grow strong?
Is it ok to ever tell a lie? When?
When people are honest with you, how does it make you feel?
