Compost for Our Plants
Everyday when the students eat their snack and lunch, Mr. Beattie saves the banana and orange peelings, the apple cores and other compostable materials. At the end of the day, he pack up the container and deposit it into a compost bin.
Then you can use a garden rake to mix the
peelings with the leaves.
In class, we use the doc camera
the view a magnification of the
compost.

what they had seen in the compost?
