Imagine a Place
Today we read the story, Imagine a Place by Sarah Thomson. After reading the beautifully written and illustrated story, we began to imagine our own favourite place. Students had to think about their favourite place and answer the following questions. This four square guide will be used a planner to write over the next few days.
Please ask your child, what is your favourite place and why? What does your favourite plac elook like?
Who is with you in this favourite place? How do you feel in this favourite place? Here is a hint of the artwork that will accompany our finished writing.
Pizza Fun Lunch
Friday is the last day to order fun lunch for your child. This month we will be enjoying Pizza from Pizza 73. If you wish for your child to participate for this fun lunch (May 30) please submit your order and payment online at www.healthyhunger.ca
Home Reading
Our home reading program is back up and running after a bit of a hiatus. Students came home with new books today - please take a few minutes to read with your child. Students should be reading and writing every day!
